The location was convenient, and the cleanliness of the room was impressive. Enjoyed the large, comfortable bed and the spacious bath. It was a unique experience to check in via email, which was efficient. However, the air conditioning unit was rather loud, and I struggled with the TV's setup initially. Also, the overall ambiance felt more like a residential stay rather than a hotel.

The Wine Country Inn hosts a charming wine bar and restaurant with mouthwatering dishes that hit the spot. Plus, it’s just a hop away from Freeport Bar & Grill for some great local eats, giving foodies a real treat in the area!
However, the place has a boardinghouse vibe—broken jets in the tub, duct-taped A/C, and a view of rusted junk across the yard. Honestly, I’d call it a 'fixer-upper' rather than a stay-worthy spot.

While the spa tub offered some relaxation, it felt a bit dated and had issues around the edges. The view from the room wasn’t ideal, overlooking an RV park on one side and a Walmart across the field and freeway, which could use some better curtains to block out light from the blinds. Additionally, the clutter in the hallway and a few ants in the bathroom were minor distractions, though they didn’t ruin the experience.

There’s no shortage of cozy vibes, and I loved sitting outside with a drink in the evening sun. Just a heads up, the decor is a bit dated, but it didn't stop us from enjoying our stay! 🌅

Charming Inn with Friendly Hosts
We had a lovely stay for one night at this charming inn by the Sacramento River. The hosts were incredibly friendly and made sure we felt at home. Our queen room featured a fantastic spa tub, which was the perfect way to unwind after exploring the area. Plus, the local bar and grill nearby served some of the best fish and chips I've ever had!
